Bug Description
It's nice that mylvmbackup includes support for rsync. But I don't like to run an rsyncd on a remote machine all the time. Besides I have no idea of "modules" and don't want to use them anyway. :) [Yes, I'm ignorant.] Instead rsync-over-ssh works perfectly well here. I have just removed the restriction that the destination directory has to contain "::" in case of using rsync and I can instantly use
backupdir=
Could you please just allow rsync-over-ssh? Thanks.
Christoph

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, supporting this was on my TODO already (there's a blueprint about it as well). I've just commited a change for this into the trunk. You can now provide backupdir= username@ hostname: /path as well and the rsync will be performed using SSH as the transport protocol. I would appreciate if you could test this fix!
