xfce boots strangely slow after login

Bug Description

I have aspire one with 8 GB SSD. I installed xubuntu and then ubuntu-netbook-remix package. When I login in gdm and choose unr then in 5-7 seconds I have the desktop. When I login in gdm and choose xfce, then I have to wait arount 30 seconds, with blue screen with nothing.

I feel that this behavior is strange because xfce is lighter than unr. I want to know if I could know if what xfce loads innecessary programs than unr doesnot or it's something else.

Thanks a lot,
Xan.

For being sure, how can I test if I run xfce4-session-helper in my session by default?
I did the workaround mentioned in bug 363664:
WORKAROUND:
1. Go to Xfc4 Settings Manager->Keyboard->Layout
2. Click 'Use system defaults'

and xfce is very slow:
    - I have 38 seconds to wait with blue screen until there appears a xfce desktop
    - with Ubuntu Nertbook Remix I have to wait only 22 with complete remix loaded.

I think it's too much and perhaps it's not (only) xfce4-session-helper which is guilty of this behaviour. Can I attach some files for deciding it really it's a duplicate of that bug of another thing?

Regards,
Xan.

The easiest test is to try karmic koala. Perhaps you could download and try the live cd from http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/xubuntu/daily-live/current/ .

The has been fixed in karmic, but I don't believe the fix has been backported.

But the speed of the livecd is slow of system installed in the computer, isn't?
How can I disable xfce4-session-helper by default in my xfce session? If I could do that, I'm surely know if it's xfce4-session-helper or not.

Thanks,
Xan.
