Bug Description
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10 alpha 2 with latest updates
this is horrible because it stays glowing for a long time if a leave volume key pressed

This is a duplicate of bug #367049.
I understand that you wanted more attention brought to it, but making a duplicate just makes things messy. Bug 367049 is now the De Jure bug report for any beneficial activity.
