Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

I've been having some problems getting Empathy to authenticate with my Jabber server. I'd just deleted my two accounts and selected to add a new one. I unchecked the "I already have an account" check box, then clicked the Create button. Empathy stopped responding for a few seconds (window greyed out) then crashed.

Could you try if that's still an issue in karmic?

No, this doesn't appear to be an issue in Karmic, at least I haven't been able to reproduce it. I don't have a script that reliably triggered the problem though.
