Bug Description

Once the "Shutdown computer" popup (displayed on Ctrl+Alt+Del) is displayed, a 60s timer is triggered before an automatic shutdown. There is a small text at the bottom of the popup, which explains "You're connected as Blabla. This computer will shutdown in XX seconds", but I think the user should keep explicit control on this action.

@Yann:

Its not very clear what you have reported? Could you be a bit more clear?

Also it seems you are running intrepid. A lot of things have changed in jaunty IF you have the same problems in Jaunty.
 Kindly add more details.

I'm marking this as invalid for now, If the problem persists in Jaunty Pls add more details

What I meant is that the auto shutdown should be removed : this kind of behaviour is very far from standard behavior of popup windows, and once there, users only have to click once, or to press Return key. Users should keep control, and "letting a popup open" does not mean "I want to shutdown"...

 If I'v understood you correctly , you mean that there should NOT be a countdown timer?
Please be more specific as to how changing this behavior enhances the usability ?

Ctrl+Alt+Del is used as a shortcut to bring up the shutdown prompt, accidental clicks cannot occur unless explicitly using the key combo. Triggering the key combo does mean that the "user wants to shutdown" . The timer is design decision, removal of the timer would not be ideal.

and pls refrain from changing the papercut status from invalid to new, you seem to be doing it in all the papercuts you report.
it makes it difficult for the papercut team while trying to identify REAL papercuts.
