Thanks for the report, could you run rhythmbox as: rhythmbox --debug &> rhythmbox-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach that resulting log file to the report? thanks.

I am also having this problem. I just upgraded to 9.04 from 8.10, using ubuntu server. I am using rhythmbox 0.12.0.

Attached is the result of rhythmbox --debug &> rhythmbox-debug.txt

---
% rhythmbox --version
GNOME rhythmbox 0.12.0

This is a shorter debug output after I cleared out my library. I now have two files in my library, and have rhythmbox set to scan the library on startup.

I ran rb with just one file (Skyscraper) and there was no problem.

I quit, then added Cumbancha, then started again.
When Cumbancha was scanned during startup, the dialog for id3 tag was thrown up.

Current music library:

test/
02. La Cumbancha.mp3
02. Mmm Skyscraper I Love You.mp3
