Bug Description
When the picker widget fails to load results for subscribing someone else inline, an error message is shown but the progress indicators (spinner and disabled input) are not reset. Also, the message is not cleared after closing the widget. Finally, there is a hover-sensitive area of the widget where the results are cleared.
