Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

On http://doc.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/serverguide/C/network-configuration.html#bridging the text mentions a package called dhcdbd, however no such package exists in Jaunty.

It would further be nice to have some comment in the documentation if NetworkManager would conflict or cause any problems with bridging.

Thank you for filing this bug report. According to the LP source page [1], this package became obsolete in Intrepid since NetworkManager doesn't need it anymore. I'll remove the material about it on that page.

Saw that this bug was already fixed in Karmic, then realized it was a dup of bug 373867.
