Bug Description
I experienced it two times (out ot two tries): once when connecting (network icon on top right of my screen->etc) once when disconnecting (network icon on top right of my screen->appropriate disconnect entry). I used a nokia 3110 classic on my acer extensa 5630.

What version of Ubuntu are you running?
I assume you're connecting the phone to your laptop via a USB cable correct?
Could you attach your kernel and daemon log files to the bug?
