Running a windows2000 server guest created with kvm62 uses 100% of CPU

Creating a win2k server VM with single CPU on Hardy/KVM62 - copying the VM file to Hary/vm84 and starting up the VM: the VM uses 100% of the CPU if it has only one CPU affected, and 100% of 4 CPUs if it has four. On the guest, cpu usage seems normal.

What about a Windows vm created in kvm-84?

What does your kvm command line look like?

pgrep kvm

Thanks for the report. Sorry, but we're not really going to touch kvm-62 any more in Hardy, except for security vulnerabilities. You might consider trying kvm-84 in hardy-backports if this is still a critical issue for you.

Hi kirkland, read the bug report again ;) It was about running a windows VM (Created by kvm62) under kvm84. I havent tried this in a while, and it probably refers to an older package of kvm84, the problem might vey well be fixed - I ll repost here in case it isnt. Thanks
