Distribution: ubuntu 9.10 alpha 2 Karmic Koala
it does not have anything to due with this bug:
#153204 because when i disable unredirect full screen windows (in compizconfig settings manager) it persists
and it does not have anything to do with notify-osd because when a notification appears youtube video in full-screen doesn't crash, it only happens when i volume up or down.

I can confirm that this does in fact happen. I am using Ubuntu 9.04.

This is not limited to Compiz. Also happens to me with Metacity as window manager.
