Kompozer crashing on right clicking the column of table

I inserted the table in the document,then I tried to modigy a column ans so I right clicked the column. Then suddenlt it crashed and got closed. The same thing is happpening again & again

1. What version of Ubuntu are you using? (Eg. Ubuntu 9.04)

2. What version of Kompozer are you using?

Worse than that on 8.10, but OK on 8.04, both with same Kompozer 0.7.10 :
Any time I pull *most* menus down, Kompozer crashes as soon as the mouse moves over 1st entry.

View, Insert, Format, Table, this makes Kompozer completely unusable (does anybody use it?).
This should be fixed as urgently as the guy says he's working on this issue.

I tried to install 9.10's release 8a4, but I got stuck on dependencies.
It would be the thing to do to examine what dependencies it takes and update to 8a4 asap on 8.10.
Any alpha would do better than that menuless banger.

Their comments 8, 11 and 15 tell the same story as I do.
But not the title and description (of 263441).
These should be changed, then.
