Bug Description

Binary package hint: kmail

Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04

kmail:
  Installed: 4:4.2.4-0ubuntu1~jaunty1~ppa2
  Candidate: 4:4.2.4-0ubuntu1~jaunty1~ppa2
  Version table:
 *** 4:4.2.4-0ubuntu1~jaunty1~ppa2 0
        500 http://ppa.launchpad.net jaunty/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     4:4.2.2-0ubuntu1 0

I have defined a mixed locale in order to have US English language with European numbers and dates.
In particular dates have been defined as
Time format: "HH:MM:SS"
Date format: "WEEKDAY DD MONTH YYYY"
Short date format: "YYYY-MM-DD"

Instead in the mssage panels I always see the date column as
DD-MM-YY pH:MM:SS AMPM

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect 389825 and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
