The update manager informed me of an update for Compiz & removing the blacklist of Intel or something. After I installed this update the laptop does not crash (freeze). I am keeping my fingers crossed that this stability lasts. I am closing this bug. If the screen starts to freeze again I will report it in another Bug. Thanks everyone.
