Freeze Compiz in Intel Graphics 945 (82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller)

My ubuntu(karmic) freeze with compiz on intel graphics 945 (mainboard: P17G/pcchips)

He instaldo la ultima versión de ubuntu (karmic), el sistema se congela cuando esta activo el compiz, a veces se congela casi de inmediato y otras para un tiempo y luego se congela, pero si entro por ssh puedo reiniciar las X con un /etc/init.d/gdm restart.

ubuntu: karmic 64 bits
mainboard: PCCHIPs P17G video integrado 945
Memoria: 2GB

Si alguien puede traducir esto al ingles, se lo agradecería mucho

I personally would like to see this fixed. I read the upstream and I can duplicate this bug time and time again. All I have to do is turn on the Normal or Extra desktop effects and it locks up within 30-90 seconds. I'm using a

I have the same bug now in 9.10 and 10.04 any fix would be welcome.
