What version of Kubuntu?
Where did you get the packages from?
Is this still reproducible?

9.04.

The repo for Kubuntu's 4.3b2 packages (from the main news page):
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/backports/ubuntu jaunty main

It was until I did a dist-upgrade, but the package from that repo is still broken as far as I know.

Is it still valid for rc1?

This issue appears to be an intermediate problem when kdepim was compiled against an older kdepimlibs.

No, RC1 works, so I think I'm going to mark this as fixed.
