Bug Description
The mixer track controlled by the volume control is wrong. By default it controls only the Master track, but on laptops this usually does not change the haedphone volume level. The correct default would to control both Master and Headphone if the card has a Headphone channel, and Master otherwise.
Expected behavior: the volume control can be used to control both the speaker and the headphone volume without tweaking.
Actual behavior: the volume control only controls the speaker volume.

How to fix this bug:
- set default value of GConf key /desktop/ gnome/sound/ default_ mixer_tracks to [Master,Headphone] (it is a string list) applets/ mixer_screen0/ prefs/active- track to "Master:Headphone"
- set default value of GConf key /apps/panel/
If bug #389092 is fixed, it is sufficient to set only the first value.
