Bug Description
This is a known bug, which has been reported here:

I'm not sure whether this bug counts as a paper cut, but since evince is part of the gnome project, there are reasons to believe so. In my opinion printing pdf-files is done very often, I'm not sure whether it is a "standard workflow".
