Bug Description

Ubuntu should have a default backup solution, that integrates well with the desktop and has the ability to backup at least the user homedir to a CD/DVD, flash drive and/or HD mount dir.

Network client-server backup is interesting but not a must, not for starters.

There are several backup applications already in Ubuntu, and I propose for Karmic that one is choosen to be included in the default install, and documented. From there, more usability bugs could be reported to improve whatever needs improving for Karmic+1.

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. Unfortunately a paper cut should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.
