White text will not show in region preview

Bug Description
It does indeed look like white was a bad example colour to pick... or maybe white was a bad colour to pick for the region. It seems that because the region is actually transparent white, not grey - any white text that is put on it will not show.
I think the best we can do until the editor gets a bit of a spruce up is to set the background colour for a region to be a colour that is unlikely to be chosen as a text colour...

Improved without changing the colour using a secondary DIV to display the transparent color
