[GM45] X200 hangs in xorg

This machine has pass 24h mprime test in console. But it hangs a lot in X(gnome). I have disabled all visual effects in system->Preference->Appearance.

The log is collected after reboot from a hang in xorg(all freezen, mouse can't move, can't ping from other machine).

When you say you cannot ping from another machine, were you connected using wireless or not? If you were connected via wireless, can you ping if you are connected via an ethernet cable? Can you ssh in (after installing openssh-server)?

    I am using wireless(intel 5300) when I reported this bug. I can't ping/ssh in when it hang. I have openssh-server installed.
    I will report back when I use it near my router so I have a Ethernet connection.

I do disable wireless, modprode -r iwpagn modle.

It just hang when I use ethernet, I can ping it but can't ssh into it.

Thanks for reporting this and providing the necessary information. I'd like to send this upstream but first could you verify it is still not fixed in the newer version of -intel for karmic available in x-updates? There has been an X200-specific fix included in this version (bug 391720), but I'm uncertain if it fixes this particular bug.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
