Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
I have two machines on Karmic. This Dell XPS1330M which also has XorgOnTheEdge and an external screen on VGA and workstation with Nvidia gfx. The workstation suspends fine (haven't unsuspended yet). The 1330M has two problems
1) When I try to suspend. The disk settles and the head is parked. The screen is set to black (but with backlight). But it doesn't suspend.
2) Today the second monitor will only mirror. Display preferences says "Method "ApplyConfigura
Can I help with additional testing?
Best
Anders

Bug reports should focus only on a single issue. The suspend issue might be a kernel problem, and in any case there's not sufficient information to troubleshoot that. So this bug report will only focus on the mirror issue. If you want the suspend issue investigated, file a new bug against the kernel and refer to the suspend/resume troubleshooting guide for directions on analysis you need to do and information to include in your report.
