open folder window : unalble to deselect previous folder

With any program, when opening a folder (with for example "File / Open"), in the selection window (zenity ?), if a folder is selected, there's no way to unselect it : if I have :

/Folder1/Folder1.1/

I navigate to "Folder1.1", come back to Folder1, click "OK" or "Open" or whatever to select "Folder1", but "Folder1.1" is highlighted and selected instead. If I click in empty space in the window to deselect Folder1.1, nothing changes.

The current way to avoid it is select a different path, come back to the right path, so that no folder is selected.

I think it's annoying enough in an every day use to be reported...
