Applets on panel are mixed after switch monitor

Bug Description

When i switch monitors (with different diagonals) or plug(in/off) second monitor applets on gnome-panel are mixed (more applets switch own positions)

This is really annoying. I certainly agree with this bug report!
Scarcely I had to resort again...

The position is no as important, but the order should be maintained.
An easier sorting experience would be nice too.

I just want to post this bug too.
Is there a method to save and restore the position of each applets? (the "lock to panel" and the option in gconf doesn't work).

I was post this bug specially for One Hundred Paper Cuts, because i think this bug really will be fixed.

This bug is not a paper cut type. It is not trivial to fix.
