Make Trash minimize when its already open

Clicking on the Recycle Bin (Trash) opens the folder in Nautilus Browser. Clicking on trash again should minimize it.

Where are you clicking on the Trash icon? In most places, the expected behavior would NOT be to close it.

Sorry I didn't mention it. When you click on the Trash icon from the Panel.

Something like what all the other apps do on the panels (E.g. volume control, transmission, pidgin, etc).

Atleast minimize the trash window. If it is already open, and click on the trash again, it keeps opening more trash windows. I'm sure most new users will find this annoying, because it isn't consistent with everything else. But i'm not sure if you would consider this a papercut.

Probably not minimize it, but maybe not open another one.

I don't agree that the trash should minimize when the button is clicked on, but it shouldn't open a new window, at least not straight away. Almost every time that I go to open the trash I double click and end up with two windows.

@Oscar : Do you have any reason why you would want to two trash can windows open ?

If a user does want 2 or more trash can folders open (i don't see a reason for it), then he/she should right-click on the icon and "open folder" which should open the trash folder. But if the user just left clicks on the trash can icon, then it should not open more than 1 window.

How is this an Opinion Vladimir ? In unity, one can't open more windows of the same application unless specifically chosen by the user. The trash should work just like the Home Folder
