In Nautilus, using the "Detailed List View", when the folder's view is item full, there is no right-click option to paste a file in the folder. As a workaround you can use Ctrl+V or Edit->Paste.

yeah, this defnetly needs to be fixed,
also if you wand to drop a file in there
and the listview only shows other folders,
there is no place were you can drop it.

You can right-click the folder in the navigation bar and 'Paste Into Folder'.

In my case, I don't use the navigation bar, I use "text adress bar" (I don't know how is called in English). This deserves to be fixed, maybe not now in paper cut, but it is really important.

Are there voting facilities for 'bugs'? ... than this one has my vote. Re: quick fix: Would it be possible to always have an extrla line in the view, so at least one could scroll down and then right click?

I'd say this ist actually a duplicate of #61237 and mark it as such. Creating whitespace in list view would fix drag'n'drop and right-click pasting.
If you disagree, please elaborate.

Yes, it is a really annoying issue, especially when you start a DnD operation.
The VA's proposed solution could work, but it doesn't persuade me very much.
Is there an elegant way to solve this?
