keyboard shortcuts does not accpet the meta modifier

The keyboard shortcuts allows the user to re-define keyboard shortcuts. However the windows (meta) key cannot be used as a modifier, only as a button.

The only way to set the meta key to something like: meta + r (run command like windows), meta + e (open up file browser like windows) is to bind them to say alt or control, go into the user's settings (had to hunt through forms to find where these are), then modify in a text editor, then not re-launch the keyboard shortcuts application and restart X.

Yea, waaaay to much work for a slightly less tech-savvy user to do to bind the windows (meta) key.

One possible solution: just treat the meta key as a modifier in the application. It works SOMETIMES if the meta key is pressed before binding (press meta, then click on edit, then press the desired button) but it does not work on all fields.
