Bug Description

There is not much things to say.
I'm on kubuntu (Dapper) and ksudoku (nor sudoku) do not launch on my system.
It seems that no process is launched.

What happens if you try to start it from a terminal?

When I try to start it from a terminal :

"bash: ksudoku: command not found"

When I try to start it from katapult :

"Could not find 'ksudoku' executable"

Nevertheless, I have tried from the kubuntu livecd (same computer), and it works fine (daily-live 20060408).

I have tried to reinstall, no change.

I have already reported several bugs about having both kubuntu-desktop and ubuntu-desktop installed, maybe that is linked ?
There isn't anything that let me say this, but as it works with the kubuntu livecd...

I have forgotten :

The last time I installed dapper (as I was testing several things) is about one month ago I think.

Did you edit /etc/environment manually? The path should be uncommented
in there...

Ok, this is my fault,

Your last message made me understand the problem. It is solved now.

I have deleted the "#" sign from the /etc/environment file regenerated locales (maybe it wasn't necessary) and rebooted, and now it's ok.

... I still have many things to learn, lol...

Yes I had done it manually when I was searching how to change the locales settings.

Sorry to have made you lose some time.
