Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
Xorg fails with a SIGSEGV when I start it with the legacy S3 driver on my S3 Vision968-based video card on Jaunty.
This video card works fine with the VESA driver.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: xserver-
ProcEnviron:
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: xserver-
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
Here's the xorg.conf file that was used with this log. My video card does not have enough RAM to allow me to use 24-bit mode.
I get the same error with the default config file or the one that I got in Hardy.
