Bug Description

I am running on English/UK. On startup, the gnome-language-selector shows a message

"The language support is not installed completely"

It recommends to install the packages

openoffice.org2-l10n-en-us
openoffice.org2-help-en-us

which to my knowledge are no longer relevant, since the openoffice.org2-packages are being discontinued. When slecting "Install", I receive the message "Could not apply changes? Fix broken packages first". According to synaptic, there are no broken packages. When trying to install "openoffice.org2-l10n-en-us" via synaptic, synaptic marks openoffice.org for deinstallation.

The packages

openoffice.org-l10n-en-us
openoffice.org-help-en-us

are installed on my system. My dapper installation is up to date.

Regards

Erich

Subscribing langpack guru - Martin, what's going on here? Simply an
outdated langpack?

No need for Martin to investigate, this is my bug :)

The package information in language-selector is outdated, I fixed it in my local repository and it will be part of the next upload.

Cheers,
 Michael
