Bug Description

Which should give a rough idea what's going on.
Up-to-date KDE Karmic (upgraded after alpha1 from Jaunty)
There's an odd delay in dmesg during startup.
Which isn't present in older 2.6.28 kernel. (dmesg included)
What's the most worrying part is this entry in dmesg
[ 35.052336] ACPI Warning (tbutils-0246): Incorrect checksum in table [OEMB] - 80, should be 78 [20090320]
