Unreadable document after PNG import

Bug Description
A simple document with just a PNG image imported in it cannot be reopened: when trying, no document is displayed at all.
Process to reproduce:
- Open DrawBerry
- Create a new document if needed
- Import any PNG image in it
- Save and close it
- Try to reopen it: nothing happens…

I experienced the same issue
1. Create new document
2. FILE > IMPORT
(Image appears on the canvas. If I select it i can see on the FILL pallete it has a IMAGE fill, and it looks like the correct image is appearing in the fill box.
3. FILE > SAVE
save to my desktop
4. DRAWBERRY > QUIT DRAWBERRY
5. Doubleclicking file to load drawberry OR opening drawberry and FILE > OPEN refuses to open the file ;-(.
