Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdevelop-data

In Jaunty, using Kdevelop 3.5.3, the AppWizard doesn't produce C++ or C projects that will build. All of them end up with a set of messages like this one for a project labelled test5:

cd '/home/frohro/Projects/Test5/debug' && WANT_AUTOCONF_2_5="1" WANT_AUTOMAKE_1_6="1" LC_MESSAGES="C" LC_CTYPE="C" make -k
make all-recursive

I have tried the work arounds mentioned here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdevelop/+bug/253286/comments/21
and
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdevelop/+bug/253286

without success. It appears the more is now needed to fix this problem. the package I have installed is: 4:3.5.3-3ubuntu-1

Same problem on jaunty 64-bit, same kdevelop version (3.5.3) and libtool 2.2.6 - could really do with a solution to this!

Same here (jaunty 64-bit, kdevelop 3.5.3 and libtool 2.2.6) and I just can't make it work, damn it. It's really frustrating. Has anyone got it to work?
