Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

When using the Evolution calender feature in Month view, double clicking a day to make an Event entry frequently sets the wrong date in the dialogue box. It seems to occur most consistently if the page has been scrolled down, it then seems to select as default date that displayed in the lowest right hand corner. It can be very confusing!

Thanks in advance.

Yes, please see screenshot01 and 02 attached and the explanation below.

> * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
In screenshot01 the Calendar function of Evolution is displayed in Month
view. In this case Friday 12th June was selected by double clicking on
the day, the correct date, 12/06/2009, is inserted by default into the
displayed dialogue box.

In screenshot02 the calandar has been scrolled forward to display dates
in September. Friday 11th September was selected by double clicking on
that day. The resulting dialogue box has picked up 10/10/2009, the
highlighted date on the calendar has jumped to that displayed in the
lower right of the screen.

Using the mouse right-click and selecting "New Appointment" from the
pop-up menu appears to give the correct date in the dialogue box.
