synergy doesn't work in jaunty

I have configured my synergy.conf correctly, I launch the client, I launch the server…

$ synergys -d DEBUG
INFO: synergys.cpp,1042: Synergy server 1.3.1 on Linux 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686
DEBUG: synergys.cpp,1051: opening configuration "/home/rom/.synergy.conf"
DEBUG: synergys.cpp,1062: configuration read successfully

Everything seems to work… But… as soon as the client tries to connect, synergys dies :
rom@rom-laptop:~$ ps -ef | grep synergys
rom 22005 1 2 02:15 ? 00:00:00 synergys -d DEBUG
rom 22009 21679 0 02:15 pts/0 00:00:00 grep synergys
rom@rom-laptop:~$ ps -ef | grep synergys
rom 22013 21679 0 02:15 pts/0 00:00:00 grep synergys

It worked very well in intrepid :-(

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 384407, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
