Bug Description

I use Jaunty 64-bit (2.6.28-11-generic) on a HP HDX18-1080EG Notebook
Steps to reproduce:
- go into standby
- reactivate the notebook

What I expected to happen:
- device is ready to work instantly (<10sek)

What happened instead:
- screen is black for over 60sek
- after that, everything is OK (unlock screen window)

The problem is the driver of the integrated DVB-T Tuner. (dvb-usb-af9015)
(The Tuner is working perfectly in Kaffeine (after loading external Firmware))
with or without firmware, it makes no difference.

blacklist dvb-usb-af9015, and standby>resume is under 10sek

Additionally, I will attach further informations about the device and module.

Hi tankdriver,

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report.

apport-collect -p linux 383532

Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.

I am sorry, my Notebook is broken. (Its my 5th total loss of a HP Notebook in 2,5 Years)
That is the reason why I can not do any further work on/for this bug. (changed to Asus)
Someone other might do that.
