Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Right now there isn't enough information to properly triage this bug. Could you please let us know more information.
For Example:
1- does the video work on other websites? if so, provide one link to one that works
2- have you installed flashplugin-installer (in terminal type 'sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer')
There is some valuable information in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs that you should look through in order to help us fix this.

Changed in firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

Hello,

I followed the link you gave me. From the Terminal I typed: firefox -ProfileManager like it told me to do so I could start another profile and try the default settings.

This did not work. It just opened the firefox browser as if I just typed: firefox I also tried typing:

firefox -Profilemanager
firefox -profilemanager
firefox -P

None of these opened up a Profile manager.

No Videos or audios work in my firefox browser except Youtube----but they are extremely slow and poor performance.

This seems to have happened after I installed from the Konsole libxine1-mpeg for my Amarock.

Is this possible that it would affect firefox? It is the only thing that I can think of that I did that might have something to do with the problem.

I did not install the flash plugin installer from the terminal. I just went to adobe website and re- installed the flashplayer

The install did not fix the problem
