I was running VLC, pidgin, firefox and audacious. Since i was watching a movie so nothing special was going on at the time. Suddenly X restarts and i find the following backtrace in my Xorg logs:

I'm running 64bit Karmic on a t61 thinkpad (nvidia nvs140m) (vers. 190.42 of nvidia drivers). I also see this exact same error on Jaunty 64bit on the same machine.... I never got this error running 32 bit now I get it quite frequently. Sometimes it happens 3 times in 15 minutes... other times everything will be peachy for hours or days. If anyone needs more data just ask.
