I'm running 64bit Karmic on a t61 thinkpad (nvidia nvs140m) (vers. 190.42 of nvidia drivers). I also see this exact same error on Jaunty 64bit on the same machine.... I never got this error running 32 bit now I get it quite frequently. Sometimes it happens 3 times in 15 minutes... other times everything will be peachy for hours or days. If anyone needs more data just ask.

This bug report was filed against an old version of Ubuntu.
Can you confirm whether this is still an issue in natty?

If you don't mind, it would be very helpful if you could update the bug
report in launchpad to 'Fix Released' if it is no longer an issue for
you, or if it is still occurring under natty, please tag the bug 'natty'
so it's easier for us to track.
