problem with german hyphenation

Bug Description
Binary package hint: texlive-base
when compiling the attached tex file (using a default kile install) i get a warning saying:

(babel) the language `German'
(babel) I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead.

and hyphenation does not work.

nevermind, somehow i had no full install of the german localization and now it works...
