Please sync rabbitmq-server 1.5.5-2 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).

There are no Ubuntu-specific changes. The only reason there is a separate Ubuntu package is that at the time rabbitmq-server was first submitted to Ubuntu it had not yet made it into Debian.

That's not exactly true. The current version in Ubuntu does have the following improvements/changes over the one in Debian:
 - quiet log rotate
 - no Build-Depends on erlang-os-mon,
 - Depends on erlang-os-mon | erlang-nox (<< 1:13.b-dfsg1-1) instead of erlang-os-mon
 - debian/watch file
 - rabbitmq-script-wrapper
 - ...

I'm not saying all the changes are worth keeping, but there's quite some diff between the two.

1.5.5-2 has just been uploaded to Debian unstable. This new package is identical to what is in Ubuntu, except for the debian/changelog and the Maintainer info in debian/control.

I hope that with this new package in place the sync can now proceed.
