Bug Description

Binary package hint: dolphin

Dolphin package: latest version (4:4.2.2-0ubuntu4) in Kubuntu 9.04

Dolphin is very slow when performing file operations with a large number of small files or directories. To reproduce the problem, copy one of your folders with many small files to a temporary directory and delete it with Dolphin. Then copy the folder again and delete it using "rm -rf" on the command line. There is an order of magnitude difference between both.
