Touchpad not recognized - Gericom Phantom XXL 3180

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

The touchpad is not recognized properly, hence it is not working at all.

From my research I found out that Gericom usually uses Synaptics touchpads. As I dont have access to a data sheet of the Gericom Phantom XXL 3180, I am not sure weather this notebook has built in a touchpad from a different manufacturer or not.
