Bug Description

Binary package hint: meld

In the "Editor" pane of the preferences window, the dropdown labeled "Line Wrapping" is empty, and clicking it prints the following message on stdout or stderr:

    /usr/lib/meld/gnomeglade.py:108: GtkWarning: gtk_menu_popup: assertion `GTK_IS_MENU (menu)' failed
      gtk.main()
    /usr/lib/meld/gnomeglade.py:108: GtkWarning: gtk_menu_get_active: assertion `GTK_IS_MENU (menu)' failed
      gtk.main()

Using a freshly installed Ubuntu 9.04 on i386 architecture with the latest meld I see the same bug.

Hi,

This is solved in version 1.3.0, that will be in Karmic.

Meanwhile, you can use the version that there is in my ppa (https://launchpad.net/~fabricesp/+archive/ppa)
