Bug Description

after installing unr 9.04 in the eee pc 900 and switching to 'classical desktop', is that after a reboot there is no way to get control of the netbook. only brown background and touchpad right click, but not useful to get neither the 'classical desktop' not the 'ubuntu netbook desktop'.

Seeing the same thing on a fresh install on an eeepc 1000. Installed, used the desktop switcher to get the classic desktop. Everything works fine after changing desktops. But after a reboot, even using the failsafe gnome desktop session won't get me a working desktop.

This has happened to me several times as well. The only real fix is that before you reboot switch back to the netbook remix screen. I have an aspire one and have no idea how this bug made it through testing.
