Creating new profile results in grayed out preferences on first view

Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Steps to reproduce:
Open terminal
Edit --> Profiles
New, set name to anything and base on any other existing profiles
Then the prefernces box pops up, but everything is greyed out. Closing and re-opening preferences rectifies this problem.
