figfonts in both Conflicts and Suggests

Bug Description

The figlet package contains the following relationships:

Replaces: figfonts
Suggests: figfonts, figfonts-cjk
Conflicts: figfonts (<= 2.2-3), figfonts-cjk (<= 2.2-3)

figfonts-cjk seems no longer to exist, so I figure this really should be
something like this:

Replaces: figfonts, figfonts-cjk
Suggests:
Conflicts: figfonts (<= 2.2-3), figfonts-cjk (<= 2.2-3)

Pete

Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.
This is normal. Figlet suggests figfonts, but conflicts with a previous revision (probably because some fonts have been moved from figfonts to figlets in this revision).

Changed in figlet:
status: New → Invalid

Are you sure that's the case? I would have thought that the Suggests should be removed for versions which include the fonts. Please see:

Thanks.

Actually, the bigger problem anyway is that the package doesn't Replace figfonts-cjk, so upgrades from a system with this package installed will break, which is what happened to me.

I guess you had this issue when upgrading from breezy to dapper...
But I can't find figfonts nor figfonts-cjk in any supported release (dapper, edgy, feisty or gutsy), so this doesn't seem to be an issue anymore (it has also been removed from debian).

Yes, it was reported a while ago. OK, I don't think many people will still have that package installed these days, so I'm happy to see this closed. Thanks.

Ok, a more appropriate state is 'Fix Released' then. Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the delay (> 1 year) :(
