Bug Description

Gnote is a desktop note-taking application which is simple and easy to use. It lets you organise your notes intelligently by allowing you to easily link ideas together with Wiki style interconnects.

It is a port of Tomboy to C++ and consumes less resources.

I've built it with prevu and works fine; it has no reverse dependencies.

You could use the ppa version.

https://launchpad.net/~gnote/+archive/ppa

it has ver. 0.4

Thank you for the advice, but if I remember well libxml 2.26.0 breaks some ABI...so I don't know if it's a good thing to install it on Jaunty or Hardy...

It will need to be backported to Intrepid before or with Hardy to provide a proper upgrade path.
