notifications causes rendering problem in urban terror

This issue may occur in other games as well but I have not checked.

When notifications come up I would expect it not to cause problems in a games rendering. When the notification comes up it causes the screen to momentarily pause. I then continue to play however the same problem then occurs when the notification dissapears as well (ie the screen momentarily freezes). This problem is quite annoying, especially when i'm listening to music in rhythmbox + the song changes and i'm playing urban terror at the same time. :S

I can confirm this on Karmic. WIll DRI2 fix this?
