Burning doesn't finalize disks correctly

Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

I have created several ISOs and tried to burn them using Brasero. Each time, the burning exits when finalizing the disk, and the disk is... odd, to say the least.

The burnt disk is bootable if the ISO was created for it, but neither a Linux- nor a Windows-system can mount/resd the contents otherwise.

It's not a fault in the ISO file, because I can move it to a Windows PC and burn it there with CDBurner XP and the resulting disk is faultfree.

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope, but seem to remember a different computer here had the same issue on an Ubuntu 8.10.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/brasero
Package: brasero 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
 PATH=(custom, user)
 LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: brasero
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686

Thanks for your report, could you run brasero from the command line as: brasero --brasero-media-debug --debug &> brasero-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the bug and attach the resulting file to the report?. Thanks in advance

This issue still persists with me in Ubuntu 10.10.... Attached is the debug text file dump as per the instructions posted above (note that the --debug option isn't applicable anymore, so I used --brasero-burn-debug instead). Basically what I did is burn an iso, and let it stay at finalizing for a while before stopping the process. Let me know if you need any more information.
