Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04

ii network-manage 0.7.1~rc4.1.cf network management framework daemon

---

From MAP of wlan interface, hidden network aren't shown, neither as "hidden", as in <iwlist wlan0 scan>.

Manual iwconfig commands also aren't supported from network manager applet.
When iwconfig says it's connected to hidden network, nothing is showed from applet.

Previous release of kubuntu 8.04 with 2.6.22-14 kernel works perfectly with same hidden lan, same hardware and same commands (iwconfig).
Newer kernel release with iwl3945 driver, doesn't support it anymore. Same problem in actual kubuntu jaunty 9.04 with 2.6.28-11-generic kernel.

Ubuntu 9.04 support ended 23 October 2010.

Can you confirm if this is still an issue with a later version of Ubuntu?
